what is hypnosis?





Hypnosis is a state of complete relaxation and heightened awareness where old recorded behaviors can be overwritten by new behaviors.


The conscious critical mind is subdued, bypassed so that positive suggestions enter the subconscious. The subconscious mind is 90% of our being where memories, beliefs, habits are stored. The subconscious mind cannot analyze so accepts suggestions readily and acts on them. Brain waves change during hypnosis, an alpha or theta brain wave state.


During hypnosis, as result of emotional and chemical reactions, remarkable physical and mental changes occur in the brain and the body. Scientific research proves that chemical messengers carry information from our brain to each and every cell in our body to elicit change. Neuroscientist Candace Pert discovered every cell in our body accepts chemical messengers, has memory, and talk to one another.
